John Marshall is a country artist, musician and songwriter.
John grew up listening to a lot of country music. He has fond memories of his older brother driving them to and from school every morning and afternoon, blasting his favorite country artist. These artists, Garth Brooks, George Straight, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith, Reba McEntire to name a few, have become huge influences on John’s singing and writing country music career. John has been called a “modern Garth Brooks” by many loyal fans.
John first got involved in country music when he wrote his first country song about 10 years ago with a gentleman named Brian Potter, who is a well known songwriter and producer of mostly the 70s (most notably known for Glen Campbell’s “Rhine Stone Cowboy”). He went on to write and collaborate with many artists, including Robert Best, and formed a country band named Cheap Rodeo. The band was a great starting point in an accelerating career in country music.
John is currently working on a solo project soon to be released in 2018.
